4 Bad Link Building Techniques
In the past there have been the link building techniques that have worked incredibly well for a long time. In general, the only reason I do not work is because someone has abused them over and over again and massively through automation tools. Google does not like the idea of ??people of your gaming system to fight for either canceling the effects of the technique of effective link building once or they will go a step further and place derank or deindex .
Let's look at four bad link building techniques to avoid and why they no longer work well.
Link exchanges - Many years ago, when Google was still in its infancy, link exchanges were used effectively by two or more webmasters to improve their ranking. It's a win-win for everyone involved, but Google because there was no real value in those links. It's ridiculously easy to detect a link exchange between sites, even the most complex involving multiple sites, so do not waste your time.Read More About Free seo services
(Spammy) Blog Commenting - Blog commenting is a mixture that anything can happen to you depending on how you use it. In the past, the blog could comment on any blog and it would be a worthwhile link. Following penguin is especially about quality over quantity, so getting a link from a blog that has spread to the death is a waste of time because Google ignores links from sites with lots and lots of outgoing links to the extent that its value link juice is completely diminished.
Wheels Link - Link wheels involve Web 2.0 sites that link to each other and eventually to your main site / page you want to sort. The problem is that in general the track is pretty easy to catch by Google and because there is no real value there, I do not like. Also webmasters tend to optimize more when it comes to link wheels (and many other forms of SEO / link building).
(Public) Networking - Networking Blog Blog worked very well for a long time. This is where you were usually pay someone to create links on the
sites in their huge and extensive networks of blogs back to your site. I made a point to tell the public networks of blog because the blog networks can function if it is truly private. I do not mean that we recently networks are specifically targeted and bombed by Penguin Build My Rank. Any network of blogs that you do not own all the sites, personally, is not private and that goes double for sites that allow anyone to pay to get your content / site links in a network of blogs.
That brings us more or less up to date with poor link building techniques until something new comes on the scene SEO and works for a while until someone abused. Note that many of these techniques can work in one way or another as long as you do not abuse them and use them judiciously.
